Do you ever use "wholistic" instead of "holistic"? (in writing, of course)
It seems to me the word "wholistic" was coined mainly because of its striking resemblance to "holistic".

Generally, "holistic" is the spelling used in the USA. You may see some slight differences in "holistic vs wholistic" in an Internet search. In reading, I think you could consider them to be the same. If you are doing medical writing, you may want to consult a medical dictionary.
